The Bon Secours Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House recently received a $15,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS. The grant will be used toward the business center within the Reinhart House as well as toward funding day-to-day operations that directly impact the ability of the Reinhart House to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for caregivers.

The Reinhart House provides short-term and extended lodging for families and caregivers of patients at St. Mary’s Hospital, making it a home away from home where caregivers can relax. The two-story brick Colonial home offers 16 guest rooms and two family suites and private baths. Guests share common areas, a reflection room, large gathering rooms, a children’s playroom, laundry rooms and a sun porch.

“We are so grateful for support from community partners like UPS who believe in our mission-driven health care ministry,” said Toni Ardabell, CEO of Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. “Together we can accomplish something truly important – we will be elevating health care so that those in need experience healing with compassion and excellence.”

“The UPS Foundation is honored to support the Bon Secours Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House efforts to provide a place where caregivers of patients at St. Mary’s Hospital can stay and be close to their loved ones through the duration of their stay at the hospital,” said Eduardo Martinez, president of The UPS Foundation. “Our goal is to fund powerful programs that make a lasting difference to the global community and the Reinhart House is one of those programs.”
