Two years ago we dedicated and blessed the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House in the presence of 200 donors, volunteers, Bon Secours leaders and community.  Since that special day, we have served more than 1,200 families. Thank you to the donors, volunteers 21and supporters who help us be good help to those in need.

We are so lucky to have the Bon Secours St Mary’s Hospital Switchboard/Telecom team 20here to make dinner for our guests and help distract them from our event set up! 🙂 On the menu for tonight is some delicious meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and fresh veggies! Thanks again to these wonderful volunteers!!

19Wow! What can we say…Thank you so much to all of the donors, sponsors, volunteers, BSHSI staff, vendors, and treasured guests both current and past. Tonight’s event was an amazing success and it’s all thanks to you. Thank you for your continued support. During the event, we had 11 families in-house. All were given the option to move to a hotel, but opted to help us celebrate!

We would like to thank the Noah and Taylor from Goochland High School for selecting the Reinhart Guest House as their “senior project”. Noah and Taylor, below with our executive director Lisa Patten, made an amazing presentation about their work at the house.

Dinner, supply donations, writing cards, etc.; these kids did it all! Happy graduation and best of luck on your next chapter! We will not forget you!!

Meet Mr. Bill Thomas – he volunteers his time every Thursday morning and makes 18breakfast for our guests! We can’t thank him enough! Our guests look forward to seeing him every week!

“Thank you for your kind efforts, warm fare, and for making it possible to be within a short walk of my husband. I would feel nervous to drive away at this point. Thank you”. – A kind note this morning from one of our guests. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

The Bugbee family are back with an amazing meal for our guests! Tonight’s menu is 17jambalaya and strawberry rhubarb crisp for dessert! Aren’t we lucky? Thank you Bugbees!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! We would like to thank Sue Kallamadi, founder of www.trunk-up.com, for her generous donation of beautiful wraps for all of the mothers staying at the Reinhart Guest House this Mother’s Day weekend.

Sue has also graciously donated to our upcoming Rockin’ on the Avenue auction! Thank you to Sue for helping us spread some Mother’s Day love!

Thank you to the Closet Factory in Richmond for transforming our computer room into our new resource center yesterday! We can’t wait to show off pictures of the bookshelves 16when they are complete! Thank you to Marilyn House West for this fantastic donation!!

Special thanks to Girl Scout Troop 5257 from Enon Virginia for stopping by the Reinhart House last night. 15They dropped off this wonderful display as well as Girl Scout cookies for our guests to enjoy! Thanks again!!

Also a very special thank you so much to Jim Dunn and VCU Rams men’s basketball Coach Will Wade for autographing a photo for our guest Bella! She is a huge Rams fan. Thanks so much for your kindness!!
