We were blessed at the Reinhart Guest House with 6 wonderful groups preparing meals for our families this past week!! A full house and plenty of families to enjoy the food and fellowship. We appreciate the support so much!

On Monday our friends from Hunton Baptist Church returned to the guest house and brought a delicious dinner.

“Great food and good company as well. Thank you, volunteers, for a lovely evening and your kindness.” — Catherine and Cameron

It was all about the picnic foods and breakfast for dinner on Tuesday night with the wonderful nurses from AORN and the Respiratory Services Department from Memorial Regional Medical Center.

“Thank you so much for such a beautiful spread and variety of food. It was just the perfect comfort we needed after having been in the hospital all day and had no dinner. Bless you! Thank you!” — Nancy

Students from the Steward School cooked a delicious breakfast for our families on Wednesday morning.

Our friends from the Telecommunications department at St Marys prepared a feast of comfort food on Wednesday evening!

“A pleasant and welcome surprise! Having spent a long day of anxious waiting in the hospital, it’s been comforting to sit down to a home cooked meal while in the company of folks that made us feel welcome. I’m thankful for everyone’s hard work to provide this meal. May God continue to bless each of you.” — David

Rounding out an incredible week of meals was a kickoff to tailgate season with a dinner made by the wonderful volunteers from Markel.

These meals mean more to our families than you will ever know. A home cooked meal after a long day at the hospital brightens the days of not just our guests, but also families from the hospital who may not be eligible to stay with us but are tired after a long day of waiting.
