In this season of Thanksgiving and always, we are grateful for the amazing volunteers who help turn the Reinhart House into a home for our families during their time with us. This past week we have had some incredible volunteers come through bringing meals for our families, making cards, and helping with some cleaning too. We appreciate your support of our ministry so much!

On Monday the wonderful employees from Bank of America stopped by with dinner for our families. Bank of America employees bring dinner once a month to the guest house! Incredible!

On Tuesday our friends from St Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church brought a delicious Greek dinner for our families. This wonderful church also comes once a month to feed our families. We love having you all!

Wednesday morning brought more returning volunteers. Students from the Steward School come each week to make breakfast for our families. What a great group of students!

Students from St Bridgets School stopped by on Wednesday afternoon to help with some cleaning around the house. They also baked cookies and made some wonderful cards to put on the guest beds. Our families appreciate these notes so much.

It was breakfast for dinner on Wednesday night with a feast prepared by the wonderful ladies from the Telecommunications Department at St Marys Hospital. We always enjoy having these ladies at the house!

Students from Glen Allen High School came by Thursday night and brought dinner for our families. These boys have been coming once a month since we opened the house in 2014!!

The meals mean so much to our families. A note from one family after a recent dinner: “Truly a blessing, not to wonder or worry of where to eat instead of the hospital cafe or out somewhere. Cheerful voices and smiles bringing some joy to what is happening at the hospital with my daughter. Thank you.”
